Dimer acid, in the form of yellow lucent thick liquid, is polymerized by plant fatty acid.It is characterized by its high flash point, good thermal stability, good flowability, and good hydrophobicity.It is innoxious and no irritativation.
Dimer acid has the largest molecular weight in all the binary acids. The polymer derives from dimmer acid, no crystalline, has good toughness and low-temperature oxidation. In industrial fields, it’s mostly used as the material of polyamide and also used in lube, rust preventive oil, adhesive agent, surfactant, food additives and so on.
